I want to process my mobile videos
In Adobe Premier 2019
Note! My Mobile uses:
Image width: 1920
Picture height: 1080
After processing in Adobe Premier 2019,
Image width: 1280
Picture height: 720
+ 2 black edges.
Premier 2019 equip the video with a
black border on both sides of the video image that I would like to remove at change image height and image width.
I can't find any possibility of that. Do you have a proposal?
I use Adobe Premier 2019. Not the PRO edition.
I've found several help pages that solve the problem. But they only show the solution in the PRO version.

Nothing is built in to Premiere Elements for vertical, cell phone video. The project presets are all for typical computer or TV screens.
If you like techincal projects, you may be able to build your own project preset.

I've seen this excellent video before. Unfortunately, it's the PRO version you demonstrate on, so I can't use it. Do you have a suggestion that applies to Adobe Premier (the cheap version without PRO) - ?

You have tree options.
You are stuck with the vertical video in a horizontal setting,
Make your own project settings (as show in YT video)
or find software that does support vertical video.

If you're on Windows 10, the Windows Video Editor will do it. And it's free and already on your computer.

This is probably only on the Home version as I cannot find it in the Pro version of windows.

I have the Pro version. But I've also installed the optional feature pack.

Video editor is available on Windows pro but activates under the images app.
My problem is that I would like to use some of the tools available in Adobe Premier (inexpensive version). e.g. Shake Reduction
But moving a processed file to the Video Editor for the image doesn't help, shrinking here to a small image with a bold black edge.
What can I do?

As for Elments you are stuck with the horizontal export.
I have changed the images app to the Windows Photo Viewer, because i dont like the new one.
That might be the reason I cannot find it.

Vegas Movie Studio Platinum is among similarly-priced programs that can create a portrait aspect ratio and do include advanced tools like shake reduction FWIW.
Trying to force Premiere Elements to create that type of project might get messy.

If you fill in the correct numbers it works perfectly. You only have to do this once.
As shown in some other thread.

Sigh. How can I fill in the correct numbers when I can't find where to do it in my cheap version. I think you are referring to the YT video but the problem with it shows a pro version (it can be read in the video) it has more options than my cheap version of Premier.
Does this really mean I can't use my purchased Adobe application for phone formats?

Unfortunately, if you dont understand the video tutorial on how to make a preset, then the answer is yes.

First, I'm sorry I haven't been clear enough.
My application is not Adobe Premier but Adobe Premier Elements.
So I must repeat the question:
How do I avoid black edges when I process mp4 files in high format (portrait format)

I know this is for Elements. Watch the tutorial and act accordingly.
If you don't understand the procedure you will just have to accept the black bars or find a different editor.
