Elements 14 freezes.

Hi

For a number of reasons I am forced to use Elements 14 to try and burn timeline to Disc.

Afrer editing and creating a menu, when I go to export and click on 'Disc' everything freezes and I have to eventually force Elements to close entirely. This is a consistent problem.

Any ideas or suggestions welcome. This is a problem stemming from Adobe's withdrawal of Disc burning from later editions, meaning I have to resort to using older versions.

As soon as 'Disc' is selected - everything freezes up!

It sounds like you may be on a Mac. If so, which  operating system are you using?

Are you saying you're using two different operating systems? I don't understand.

And neither computer has at least 50 gigs of defragmented free space?

BTW, have you double-checked to make sure there are no no-nos on your timeline:

1) You should NOT have a stop marker at the end of your movie.

2) There should be no video gaps on your timeline.

Can you post a screen shot of your timeline so we can see if there's anything we can see?
