Which version of the program are you using on what operating system?

Also open your drone video in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy this text and paste it to this forum. We'll need these complete specs to figure out what's going on.

What? I don't understand what you're saying. I sent a Screencast of what my computer has for hvec. Should I download the Adobe one and delete my computers hvec? My original issue is the program not having the codec for my files. Im clearly not savvy enough to really know

Okay, now I see you're using version 2018 of the program. The ability to edit HEVC on Windows was not added until version 2019.

Converting the video is an option. If you run the video through the free download HandBrake it will create a more conventional H.264 4K MP4, so that's an option.

But maybe someone on this forum with more experience working iwth 2160p60 HEVC will have some suggestions that don't involve you're having to convert everything you want to edit.

Two other users forwarded me HEVC 4K clips at 60 fps.  Neither could make them work on their machines and I was sure I could on mine.  I failed.  I have not had trouble with HEVC 4K at 30 fps.  I just can't get 60 to work.  I use the current 2020 version.
