I produced a movie in Premiere Elements 15 and when I try to burn it to a DVD it produces an ISO file in my PC. How do I burn the ISO onto a DVD that will play on a DVD player and not just on my computer?

You can select option on the Export & Share screen to burn a disc rather than an ISO. It's right at the bottom of the Disc panel on Export & Share.

Thanks, Steve, for your response.

All this is with Premiere Elements 15. It does not

work. I go to Disc and it says MPEG2-DVD, SD576,

2.43GB. When I burn it, it comes out as an ISO. I

try and burn the ISO with ImgBurn and it comes out

working on the PC, but not in the DVD player or

the neighbor's different DVD player. On the

neighbor's TV it says it can't play in this area.

What does that mean?

I tried using Devices TV on Premiere Elements 15

and it again took over four hours and I have no

idea where that file ended up. I can't find it. It

is not an ISO file. It didn't touch the blank DVD.

Can I buy Premiere Elements 2018 and transfer

everything to 2018 and then try to burn a DVD?

Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Are you choosing the DVD option from the drop-down menu at the bottom of the panel?

BTW, you also have the option of outputting ISOs as DVDs. You don't burn the ISO file to a disc, of course. You use simple, free software that burn the ISO file as DVD files.

My free tutorial shows you how to do it with ImgBurn.

Hi, Steve.

I tried to open your tutorial, but couldn't open

the site. It said I had the wrong answer. Here is

what I put in and what they said wasn't correct.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks so much for all your help.

I don't understand what you're saying, Bert.

If you want to burn a DVD disc, you need to select the option to burn to a disc rather than an ISO on the Export & Share/Disc page.

The tutorial on using ImgBurn to burn ISO files as DVDs can also be found on YouTube.
