Mask handles disappear in Premiere Elements 2021

I am following the youtube video

Using the Effect on Selection tool in Premiere Elements 2021, on Win10 PC

Upon selecting the blurr mask and by pressing the tracking button (and subsequent application of effect) the blue mask outline with handles disapppears and I cannot get it back. In the YouTube video the mask stays on.

The effect of mask plus blurring is applied to the video, but possibility of re-tracking is lost.

Hi Adam,

Sometimes the blue mask disappears if your object goes out of frame and similarly the mask also goes out of frame. You can move the CTI to the start of the clip and then move the CTI slowly to see the mask movement.

Also, would be better if you can share a screen recording of the issue to help us better understand it.

Mask going out of frame issues is NOT applicable here.

After enabling and executing tracking function ANY clicking on OPTION area will cause the mask to disappear and there is no way to get it back.

I am including the video where I was choosing different expansion parameter

It is definetely a serious bug

Have you tried clicking on the Selection listing on the Applied Effect's panel? The handles re-appear when you click on the Selection listing.
