How do I remove one frequency from an audio track?  There is one irritating frequency (hammer on anvil) that occurs every 5 to 7 seconds in an audio track; how do I remove it?

It might be there, but I don't know of a way to do that inside Premiere Elements. You might try separating the audio track and working with it in the (free), very capable, Audacity program.   Once "fixed" you can put it back into the project.
