Hi there, is there anyone who has expreience with older prel files opening in the latest 2020 software.
is that possible and without problems, when you have installed the update?

Loved to hear from someone who tried this.

It might work -- but Premiere Elements is not designed to be backwards compatible and it might corrupt your project file or make elements of it non-functional.

Our standard advice is to complete your project in the version of the program you started it in. But, if you do want to try opening it in a more recent version of the program, make a copy of the project file so that, if thinks go south, you won't lose your original project!
