I am using Premiere Elements 14 Organizer to create slide shows.  I'd like to change the default slide duration.  Is there a way?

I know how to do that.  My question is about the slide duration in slide shows.

The slideshows created in the organizer don't allow changing the slide duration.

The only feature allowing setting a duration is the 'instant slideshow' when you use the 'Full View', shortcut F11. Click on 'settings' (cog wheel) in the tools palette of that view.

I've never used Organizer.   However, you can set the default duration in Premier Elements in the Preferences menu.  Then when you "Add Media" they will all be the same.  Once the images are in the project, they can only be changed one at a time.

Thanks.  That's what I thought.  I will play around with the instant slideshow and see if I can figure out how to export it to my video.

You probably know this, but Premier Elements functions well as a slideshow program.  It will load photos through the Add Media tools.  That includes RAW!  Once in the project, all the transitions, fades and various adjustments and effects are available.  In other words, Premier Elements works as well for slide shows as it does for videos.

Yes I do know but for some reason I'm getting better quality photo resolution from Slideshow in the Organizer.
