PE14 locating missing file bug

Hi there,

This is a long-standing problem that I thought might have been fixed with an update...but then it is Adobe and their software is littered with bugs that aren't sorted out...

Anyway, in previous versions, if PE couldn't locate a media file, a dialog box would pop up asking you to locate the file in question - easy.

But with PE14, a box appears but doesn't give you any indication which file it is looking for. So I'm forced to click on "skip" and have a project full of empty media files that I then have to go through one at a time and "replace". In fact, the dialog box doesn't say anything - it's only because of previous versions that I know it is looking for something. Anybody new to the software would be left wondering what the hell is going on.

Very poor.

By the way, I'm working on a Mac.

Can anybody offer me any help/tips?

Thanks

Martin
