Exactly how did you burn the DVD?

Please be specific and list all steps taken.

What version of Premiere Elements?

What operating system?

What brand and type of DVD?

I agree with Bob re your operating system. Some versions of Windows Media Player, for instance, do not support DVD playback.

I'd recommend you install the great, free VLC Media Player. It should play your DVD automatically as soon as you load it into your computer.

Assuming, of course, you burned a playable DVD. From your post it's not clear which software you used to create your DVD and which steps you took to do so.

Hi Niki,

I understand your concern. Ideally, the DVD playback should be fine after export whether you play it on your computer or any other DVD player. In addition to the questions asked above, I'd like to know:

  • What error do you get when you try to play the DVD?
  • Did you check the playback on any other DVD player?
  • Do you get playback issues with an exported video saved on your computer too?

Thanks,

Shivangi
