Premier Elements 15 has stopped working

Hi

We have a bunch of Dell 5480 core i5 laptops with 8GB of RAM and using Intel 530 HD Graphics and all have the same problem with attempting to use Elements 15.

As soon as you try and launch the video editor it stops working and crashes out.

Disable the driver, elements loads fine (albeit messaging about the useless inbuilt graphics).

Re-enable the Intel 530, crashes.

Its using the latest driver, BIOS is up to date.

Could this be a problem with this graphics driver on a Windows 7 64-bit Dell 5480 laptop? Put Elements 15 on an older Toshiba R940 and it works fine!

Any ideas?

Thanks

Mark

If every one of those laptops is having the same exact problem and the Toshiba is not, that probably indicates where the problem is.

I assume you're loading the latest graphics drivers from the Intel site rather than letting Windows do it, right? Windows 7 is a pretty ancient operating system. Particularly if it's still the 32-bit version.

You may need to try an older driver.
