Does anyone know if the 2021 version of Premier Elements allows you to randomly shuffle the photos or videos prior to creating the .mp4 video.
with Photoshop Elements limiting you to 250 photos in their slideshow we have had to upgrade to Premier Elements. Unfortunately 2020 Premier Elements does not allow shuffling.
thanks

Can you define "randomly shuffle" a little better? I don't think that is possible. But, it might be if I better understood what you are trying to do.

On the earlier versions of Photoshop Elements (prior to the limit of 250 photographs) you could upload all of your photos to the Slideshow and then click a button and it would move around all of the photos into a random order for the slideshow.
Since we have over 500 images in the slideshow we now have to use Premier Elements for the Slideshow.
We are looking to somehow mix the order up so that they are in a random pattern rather than manually go through each slide and move it around prior to publishing.

I'm sorry that I don't know how to help. I've not tried to do a random 500 image slideshow!

If you're looking for a program that will take your 500 still photos and throw them together into a slideshow in random order, Premiere Elements is probably not the best tool for the job.
A better option would be a dedicated slideshow creator app. Pro Show Gold is no longer being produced, but you may be able to find old copies on Amazon or eBay. It's much more like what you're looking for.
