Premiere 11 starting up

I am new to video editing, so this is all a learning experience for me...I have 2 books on order.

I am trying to import a .MOV file into Premiere 11 and play it, however all I get is a GREEN screen...the audio portion of the file DOES play, so I know some portion of the file is being read by Premiere.

How can I get Premiere to show the video portion of the clip?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

mm
