PREMIERE ELEMENT 14 DISPLAY ERROR

when importing video footage i find that it will not render properly and is very laggy when it comes to editing it.

A yellow error symbol pops up at the bottom of the page and says incompatible display driver, and I'm really stuck on what to do it say update display driver, to fix

Laptop specs -

OS - Windows 10 64 bit

GRAPHICS - Intel 530 and NVIDIA GTX 960

MEMORY - 16gb

Direct x 12

Intel core I7 processor

I have photoshop as well that runs fine its just PREMIERE ELEMENT 14.

With the program off, update your graphics driver from the nVidia site, then go to C:/ProgramData/Adobe/Premiere Elements/14.0 and delete the BadDriver.txt file.

You may need to enable Show All Files in your Folder Options to see these files and, if you have more than one version of Premiere Elements, the BadDriver.txt file may be in another location.

Once you've done that, start the program and it should run fine.
