So I bought the photoshop and Sony Play Memeories package and downloaded it to my little brother's computer until I got my own. I was told when I bought it that I could shift my package over to my new computer and I'd like to do that now that I have my own. Is this a good route or should I just buy a new package? Obviously I'd like to save the money, but I want to know if this is more simple than I'm imagining. Please let me know!

It is simple.  The agreement for Premiere Elements is that you can install it on two computers but you are supposed to use one at a time.  If you want to "unregistered" the first computer anyway, you sign out of the first one on the Help Menu.

So really all you have to do is install it on your new computer.  Play Memories is something free from Sony to go with Sony cameras.
