Premiere elements 15 - project files cross platform?

I know that earlier versions of premiere elements did not support collaboration between apple and windows via sharing a .PREL file.

Is this still the case with pe15?

Anyone know of a way to get .PREL files between windows and apple? I'm currently on PE 14

.prel files can be opened in either the Mac or PC versions, regardless of which platform they were created on, in version 15. (This might even be true in version 14. I haven't tested it though.)

Thanks for reply. Hmmm.... i tried PE15 and could not open .prel files x-platform created on MAC- > open on PC,  but create PC -> opn MAC would work.

Can you please point me to where you found the info about x-platform compatibility?

In my experience I can open .prel files created on my PC on my Mac.

Hi Steve,

I verified with Adobe support that PE15 .PREL files are supposed to be

cross platform compatible. They are checking this issue out in their lab

and will be getting back to me with findings today. I'll post what they

say at that point.
