Does Premiere Elements 2020 play nice with Dolby Sound? For the past few years, Adobe and Dolby have not played nice with each other and Adobe stopped supporting Dolby Sound, so those of us with investments in higher end camcorders with Dolby sound are out of luck except for going back to using Adobe Premiere Elements 15 which was the last version to support Dolby.

As long as you are on Windows 10 you will have dolby in your timeline but you will not be able to export as such.

BTW dolby is not exclusive for higher end cameras.

Many consumer cameras have dolby.

Perhaps one would not have to revert to an earlier version of Premiere Elements if they put the video in another video program (such as a free downloadable one),  then saved the audio (or audio and video), then put the audio or new video into Premiere Elements would work.
