Premiere Elements - TIFF Picture disappears every time on same place

Picture disappears in certain places. even if I delete it and insert it again, the picture is gone in exactly the same place. Can it be the Premiere Elements has problems with transparent TIFF files?

Have you tried saving the file as a transparent GIF, PNG or PSD instead? I don't know that Premiere Elements can work with transparent TIFs.
