Re: Paging file on External Hard Drive?

I have roughly 24GBs of storage available on my laptop and would like to run a game that requires 2GBs of RAM extra. My laptop has only 4GBs of RAM. The problem is that a lot of the already small storage on my computer is used up on system storage. We later purchased an external hard drive in which I have more than 500GBs free. I want to know if it is possible for me to use up the storage I have on that hard disk as virtual RAM instead so that I can run such a game as the aforementioned. It's not like I plan on using up an entire terabyte of storage any time soon.

Thank you,

Jay.

I've branched this to a new thread because:

1) You tagged on to a many years old thread.

2) This is not really an Adobe question.

That said, I don't think your game will run well on virtual RAM.
