Right click on clip not working

Just downloaded elements 2021 after using 2019 for a couple of years and the right click on selected clip don't bring up options eg fade in and out etc , any ideas anybody ? All's it brings up is small preview box as if left clicking on clip

When odd things happen it can sometimes be attributed to the preferences file.  It can be reset.  The instructions to do so are in the first couple of paragraphs here:  https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/using/preferences.html
