Hi,

I have read that for Premiere and Photoshop Elements you need a 2 Ghz processor. I have an Intel core i3 1,7 Ghz processor. Will the program work with that or not?

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks,

Franka

Premiere Elements: No.

Photoshop Elements: Maybe, but very slow if it does.

I very much agree with Bob.

You can use this chart to see your processor's benchmark. In my books, I recommend a benchmark of at least 6,500 for most video editing.

PassMark Intel vs AMD CPU Benchmarks - High End

The i3 1.7 ghz processors I see on the list are rating about 2,400.
