Hello,

I'm new to Adobe premiere elements 2020 with a windows 10 pc. I recorded the screen while playing a Game with the Xbox Game bar and got this result when importing the video in premiere elements. The multiple image sections do not appear when the film is playbacked with other programs. This problem does also not appear with any other game. Can somebody give me a hint what is wrong? The game is played on a monitor with a resolution of 2650 x1440.

Thank you very much!

Best regards

Stefan

You've got a bad marriage of programs, Stefan. Premiere Elements is not going to edit this type of video well.

My recommendation is to buy a program that includes both a screen recorder and editor in the same program. CyberLink PowerDirector Ultimate includes both a screen recorder and an editor. Camtasia is made for recording screens and editing this video.

Otherwise, you're just setting yourself up for a lot of headaches. Premiere Elements and your Xbox screen recorder simply won't play together well.

Thank you for the answer. I tried another screen capture software (OBS). There were no problems with that.

But I'll take a look at the other programs you have mentioned.
