What is the format and source of the video? Are you able to play it in the Organizer? Are you on Windows or Mac? What are the specs of your computer? Is it only one video that is not playing or all? Are you able to play any videos?

I am not going to be much help with answering your questions. =( My camcorder is 4K. I transfered the video to my computer and uploaded it to adobe premier elements. I don't know what the organizer is. I'm on windows. What specs are you wanting to know? When I go under pictures to look up a video to play it plays the audio however its not showing the picture of the video. I am no computer expert. Please forgive me. =(

No problem. We will try to sort through whatever information you can provide.
1. Are you able to play the video using Windows Media Player?
2. What is the model of your camcorder?
3. What is the file extension of the video file you have uploaded, e.g. .mov or mp4?
(The Organizer is a program that comes with Premiere Elements. It organizes your video and photo files in a database and has many functions that help in editing videos.)
BTW, you posted in the Photoshop Elements part of the forum. This thread will probably be moved to the Premiere Elements section by a moderator.

Please use the free MediaInfo and post a screenshot the properties of your media in tree view:

This is sufficient. No need for Mediainfo.

Does Elements 15 support XAVC S?

My video doesn't play when I click play. Do you know why that is?

Maybe your machine cannot handle 4K
being able to play a file in a player is not the same as editing a file in a editing program.

Open your video in MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy the text report and paste it to this forum.

Do I need to setup an account on that site?

I don't understand what you're asking, Hazel.
MediaInfo is a program, not a web site. You said you've downloaded it.
Open the MediaInfo program. In the program, go to the File menu and select Open/File then open your video clip and follow the instructions I posted above to copy the report to this forum.

On the web page or whatever it is. It says download mediainfo. Mediainfo is in a blue block. I don't know.

You don't have to set up an account.
That blue block is merely a download link. Click it to download the software then install it.
Have you done that?

Yes I did that. On a previous message someone posted that its not a website its a program. I am not following what I need to do.
When I went to it it is a website I am soooo frustrated!!! One person says one thing then someone else says something different.
There is a picture below and about the middle of the picture has some words that are written. I am not understanding why this would be on this site? If you can't read what it says i can get a better picture. This makes me wonder if this site is sketchy.
