Video Track Being Deselected

Hello,

I am working on some lower thirds on Track 2 and I have some footage running on Track 1.  Every time I stop the playback it deselects Track 2 and selects Track 1.  I am trying to see if my keyframes are position good and each time I stop playback I need to reopen up Applied Effects and pick off where I left off.  Any suggestions out there?  Thank you for reading this.  I am using PE 2020 on a smoking Lenovo X1 extreme.

This has long been an annoyance with the program. There is nothing you can do to change this in Premiere Elements.

Thank you Steve!  I miss my PP CS6 on my old MAC now.

So the workaround is to start the playhead and then grab the running playhead with the curser and drag the playhead back to the begining of the lower third clip.  That will not change the track selection I have found.
