I found this general feature page:

Features & Enhancements | Adobe Premiere Elements 2018

But it is very general and doesn't show what is different from 15.

And this has a side by side:

Version Comparison | Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 vs 15, 14, 13

It seems like it just has some guided editing enhancements.

What I really want to know is things like

  • Does it support any new hardware acceleration.
  • Does it support H265
  • Are there any new filters, effects, transitions, etc

Does anyone know of a detailed technical spec new feature list?

Adobe has very craftily hidden one of the biggest differences between v2018 and previous versions.

PrE 2018 will no longer burn BD to either disc or files or create menus.

You must either stay with version 15 or use an additional 3rd party authoring product.

My article and the links in our Premiere Elements FAQs detail the differences between version 2018 and the previous version of Premiere Elements.

What's new in Premiere Elements 2018?

There are no new filters, effects or transitions, there is no hardware acceleration based on graphics cards to speak of and the program does not support H.265 video.
