What operating system do you have?

Do you have any other Adobe programs, in particular the professional version of Photoshop CS6 or later? Fireworks? Lightroom?

That's where I was aiming too, Bob.

So once we know what operating system she's using, we'll be able to recommend how to work around it.

I am using a macbookpro on El Capitan 10.11.6.  Out of frustration, I  deleted  Adobe Premiere Elements 14 from applications and saved projects made in APE 14 to another HD.  Then I bought elements 15 & downloaded it successfully.

Thanks for the replies. It was an expensive fix. If PDapp comes back, any advice?
