Hi,

Please take a look at my timeline before I explain what I am looking for -

Untitled-1.jpg

As you can see there are many clips or clip segments on the timeline with transition effects. The timeline is final for output.

Now this is what I want. In the Green highlighted section the video will start from 100% and zoom in to 130% to the end. Then it will stay 130% at the non highlighted zone. Then on the blue highlighted zone, it will start from 130% and zoom out to 100% at the end. Effect would be applied only to the highlited track, not other tracks.

I can zoom in and out on each segment, but cannot apply this to the timeline. But as you know this is a fashion now to make your videos look a bit creative. So do you guys know any hack to do this rather than exporting the clip and then again apply the effect? I do not want to do that twice, so looking for expert's suggestion.

Put an Adjustment layer over the entire video

Drop Basic 3D onto this layer and keyframe Distance to Image.

Awesome!

Regarding Adjustment layer, if I put an Adjustment layer on top and apply sharpness level 10 to that. Would that be applied to all the clips underneath it?
