DVDに入っている動画を読み込めない

Logiecの外付けDVDを使っています。

OSはMac10.15.1です。

友人が撮った動画をDVDに入れて渡されました。

この動画を読み込んでプレミアプロ CCで編集したいのですが

DVDを入れるとドライブのリージョンを選択する必要がありますと表示され、

2番を変更してドライブのリージョンを設定したのですが、その設定がうまくいかないようです。

もう一度、DVDを入れ直してみると同じ表示が出てきます。

ちなみにDVDプレーヤーは普通に再生できています。

DVDに入っている動画をどうしたら読み込めるようになりますか。

友人が普通に作ったもので、コピーカードとかは入れていないのですが。

解決方法があれば、教えてください。

Premiere ProではなくmacOS経由でのDVDドライブの設定かと思うのですが、基本的には添付画像に書かれている通りカギのアイコンをクリックして変更操作をおこなう流れになると思います。

正しい手順でもうまく変更できない場合は、DVDドライブのメーカーに問い合わせていただいた方がよいかもしれません。

（最新のmacOSをお使いになっているので、ドライブとの互換に問題が生じている可能性も無いとは言い切れないように思います。）

this stupidity is caused by the greed of copyright holders when the dvd standard was set up.  DVD's are set so they will only play on a specific region.  Computer dvd drives are set so you can change the region but only a limited number of times.  

Where is your friend located?  You can google the correct dvd region for that area.  Since it doesn't sound like his video is copy protected which can only be done on a mass replicated dvd, he could just post the video_ts folder on dropbox or elsewhere on the web for your downloading.  Once you've done that if the files don't open in premiere, you can use a program like handbrake or mpegstreamclip to convert them to a more reliable format.
