Can't generate captions

I'm trying to generate captions for a few seconds of speech, and the "Generating captions..." appears but doesn't complete. I've tried restarting, deleting media cache, using other source clips, but no luck. The transcript is perfect as is.
I just upgraded to 25.1.0 BETA (build 63)

For the record, the captions generation works in my Premiere Pro 2025.
