Me too. Fill to frame, drag pictures to timeline, it seems not working. as well as in 25.6.2?

I'm glad someone else reported this, as I couldn't believe I was the only one getting this.
It hasn't worked for months.
I would explain it more. UHD source file, HD sequence, Preferences>Media>Default Media Scaling... Fit to frame
Drop in a Clip from the project: No scaling takes place
