JPEG previews don't show up in Icon view

I have a few simple JPEGs (2048x1364 pixels) in my project, and when viewing them in the Icon view, they're just blank, which is annoying. Icon previews of video footage show up OK.

I'm on PPro Beta 23.1.0x6, Windows 10

Nvidia RTX3090 24GB VRAM

128GB RAM
