P: Beta 25.3.0 (Builds 13, 14, 15) Can't save Preferences through 3 builds Had to roll back to 25.2

I'm getting the "Invalid Type Conversion"  error message that has become endemic with 25.3 (Builds 13, 14, 15) Can't save preferences-at all. Can't even just go to preferences>General>do nothing then hit OK and nothing happens. Have to hit cancel every time. I've done the necessary trouble shooting. I'm no rookie at this. Trashed preferences. Cache, Temp disable 3rd party, full acceces to disks for PP, Checked disk permissions. I've also deleted profile,  and rerinstalled aftert deleting profile. . Seeing multiple reports of not being able to save preferences so calling it a bug. Also, there are many reports of different manifestations of the "Invalid Type Conversion" error message with different circumstances.

I had to roll back to 25.2

Beta 25.3.0 (Build 13, 14, 15)

M3M fully loaded. Cache, Scratch on fast nvmes.

OS 14.7.4

Fixed: (Build 16)

I am trying to move my media cache files and database from my MacBook Pro to an external hard drive, but I keep getting an "Invalid Type Conversion" error message. I have the Premiere V 25.3 and using a G-Drive that I have used to house my media cache regularly.Screenshot 2025-03-10 at 1.51.10 PM.png

Just delete all media cache and let Premiere make them fresh.

That unfortunately won't solve tjis particular problem. I'm getting the same error message, can't save preferences-at all. Can't even just go to preferences>General>do nothing then hit OK and nothing happens. Have to hit cancel every time. I've done the nevessary trouble shooting. I'm mo rookie at this. Trashed preferences. Cache, Temp disable 3rd party, full acceces to disks for PP, Checked disk permissions. Haven't completely deleted my profile or reinstalled. Both a PTA. Seeing how I'm not the only getting this error it could be a bug. Not ready to go there yet though.

I'm officially calling this a bug. Multiple users are experiencing the same issues and errors. I rolled back to beta 25.2 and all is well.

There has been a lot of community discussion on the priorities that were chnaged for H264 decoding in 25.1.

https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/premiere-pro-25-1-igpu-stopped-decoding-my-f...

In that version you could disable NVidia to force Intel iGPU decoding for H264 and not laod the NVidia GPU.

The iGPU was always used for H264 and H265 decoding for media that was hardware decoding friendly.

In Beta Version 25.3.0 build 14 you cannot sde-select NVidia decode option.

NVidia Decode option remains selected and OK button not working as others report.

Also getting error 'Invalid Conversion ' when I try this.

Will have to go back to previous version as this Beta version is unusable.
