Preferences settings are opening very slow

I noticed that

in the latest version of Premiere Pro the preferences settings are opening and closing very slow.

steps,

open a simple project

goto edit>> preferences

Note how long it takes before the panel opens, it takes about 10 seconds on my system...

Hi @theok8577996 could you let me know which version and build of Premiere Pro (Beta) you are seeing this on? Also basic specs like OS version and CPU/RAM/GPU would be helpful. Thank you.

Hi Matt,

After a fresh reboot it still take about 8 seconds to open the prefs and when you click on ok to close it.

(with Premiere Pro 23.2 and the current beta)

I have tried following

- switch to a different new admin user

- started Premiere with CTRL key to force clean start

- disabled all external pluggins in Common/mediacore

- run blackmagic speedtest on system drive 450GB/s read/write

- no antivirus software installed

- cleared mediacache

My desktop PC specs

Editie Windows 10 Pro
Versie 21H2
Install date‎11-‎11-‎2020
Build 19044.1889
Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4180.0

with

Premiere Pro 23.2 and Premiere Pro Beta

CPU Intel i7 2600k 3.4GHZ  16GB ram

Nvidia GTX 1660 with 6GB ram

System SSD for OS

3TB video harddisk

NOTE I don't see this problem on my Win10 Laptop!
