Project Files from older version of Premiere Pro (Beta) not opening in current update

Community Beginner ,

When I try to load project files in the recent update of Premiere Pro (Beta) I get this message:

"The project cannot be loaded, it may be damaged or contain outdated elements"

This is happening to all my projects that had previsously been working fine in Premiere Pro (Beta)

I opened the files in the Premiere Pro 2023 and saved as a copy but this produced the same message.

How do I get project files from old versions of the software to work in the most recent update?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.
