Scene Edit detection not working on 23.6.0 BETA

When selected the Scene Edit detection window pops up but nothing happens. The "apply a cut..." is the only option selected. 
It shows "analyzing clips" but no progress. Waited for 3min and nothing.

Same problem here, not working on mac m1 pro.
