Hi @doublevee,

Sorry to hear you're runing into issues. Mogrts are basically After Effects compositions. There's a few reasons you could be seeing poor playback performance:

  • Your computer is below the minimum requirements for AE/Pr
  • The mogrt is 4k
  • The mogrt is built in an unoptimized manner (lots of complex expressions, large comps, etc)
  • The mogrt is Dynamic Link (it requires After Effects to run). You can find this out if you click the (i) below the mogrt thumbnail and see if it has Requirem

You can find this out if you click the (i) below the mogrt thumbnail and see if it has Requirements listed: TheresaRostek_0-1734639891554.png

What you can do to try to have better playback performance:

  • Drop the playback resolution on the Program Monitor to 1/4
  • Apply your customizations and once locked, render and replace
  • Investigating the mogrt in After Effects to optimize (Here's our guide: https://express.adobe.com/page/gG6a4r2DIUGNZ/)

If all mogrts have poor playback performance AND the above is no help, you may want to look into upgrading your computer hardware.

I also recommend contacting Motion Array support for additional help on your specific mogrt for further help.

Thanks,

Theresa
