AI enhanced audio starts popping

When I use the ai tool to enhance speech (I'm tagging the clip as 'diaglogue' and then I'm clicking 'Enhance'), the start of several clips start popping. They didn't have a pop prior to the adjustment.
System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v24.3.0.24, 2017 iMac Pro with macOS Sonoma 14.2.1

Enhanced audio appears to have gotten worse rather than better in beta. Before it had a few issues, now it is unusable and sounds like alien speech at times... and yes, much more clipping
