For some reason, when I add a caption, sometimes it will randomly add it at the beginning of my sequence. No idea why this is happening

I have not seen this.
How are you adding it? The "plus" symbol in the Text panel? A shortcut in the timeline, etc?
What Build of the Beta are you using?
