Flicker when importing Mac screen recordings

When importing recordings from my M1 Macbook Pro, video clips flicker upon motion - any way to resolve this?

Have you tried right clicking on your screen recording media file in your sequence and choosing Field Options, then select Flicker removal under the Processing Options.

You might need to transcode your screen recoding in Media Encoder to an editing codec to get better results as sometimes screen recording have variable frame rates that result in flickering. Make sure your sequence settings match your media settings.
