Does anyone out there know if the "Import Transcript" button that is currently grayed out will be for importing a transcript ( an approved script for example) for use during the Transcibe process or will this be for I'm,porting a complete SRT file?

You import SRT in the Captions tab. The import transcript is for transcripts from PR that have been exported.

I'll look when back home as to why greyed out. It may not be available if you already have a transcript?

OK...thanks for the info.  What I was hoping it was and REALLY want is a way to upload and approved script for our videos that PP uses during it's Transcribe process to solve issues with capitalization, punctuation and so on.  This would be the same process you can do in YouTube while creating captions.  Really hope this feature comes to PP.

Yes, many requests for some type of "import transcript" operation from a text file, edited transcript, etc. I don't see a link to one of these requests at the moment, however.

I did confirm the "greyed out" when a transcript already exists.

The "export transcript" is not useful for your purpose, because it is a proprietary ".prtranscript" file type.
