Importing metadata

Hello, I have some questions about importing metadata into Premiere Pro.

1. Can I import an index file created in another AI media application (not Premiere Pro) into the search panel?
2. Can I import only an XMP metadata file without the original video?

2. Using our APIs, you can get and set the XMP metadata associated with any projectItem.
