Lately I am seeing on the forums sequences preview codec auto set to MS AVI.
We never use avi unless its old fashioned SD.
Even support set someone sequence setting to AVI while editing mp4 phone footage.
But most of the time the rendering fails on MS avi.
Is this the new way or is it ......

I just noticed this the other day also, but I'm using production 22.5 - I guess they never fixed this?
Guessing this is a confirmed bug.
