I have a problem with the playback in the new version.
I can work for a certain time without any problems. I can cut fluent in full quality.
But repeatedly i can not play the timeline anymore.

The program is working, it doesn't crash.
But i can't play videos anymore. I have to restart & i can go on.

Any tipps?

Hi jonathanh,

Thank you for reporting. I'd like to gather more information to better understand the issue you are seeing.

Is this Mac or Win? What GPU do you have? Would the playback recover if you switch the renderer to Software in Project Settings? Any hang or crash on quit? Did you happen to notice anything abnormal before it happened? Did you notice any particular actions that trigger the issue?

Thanks,

Thomas

It's the new M1 with 16GB RAM.
Adobe Premiere Pro Beta.

Here is a video with the problem.

Hi jonathanh91299775,

It seems that Audio Hardware has some issues here.
Try this
Go to Premiere Pro>Preferences>Audio Hardware and change Defalt Input to "None"
Change Default Output to "Mac's default output" which should be "Internal Speakers"
Once done restart Premiere Pro and try to playback.

I hope it works.

Hi jonathanh91299775

Have you switched your Primary and Secondary monitor any time soon or by any chance?

Send me the Audio Hardware preferences options that you are getting in Premiere Pro and all other settings available there. Also, open Sound on your MAC from Apple Menu>Preferences and send me the screenshot of all the devices attached or available.
