Speech to Text -> Making changes in Caption panel inserting italicized text into subtitle track

Funny little bug here... When I make a change to the text to a Caption in the Text -> Captions panel, the text in my subtitle track updates, but the changed text has a faux-italic style applied.

For example, I changed the generated "Saint" to "St.", and ended up with "St." in my onscreen caption?!? (See attached screenshot).

Hmmm... but after toggleing faux-bold on and off at a text-box level and not a selected text, it now seems to be inserting proper non-italic text again.

I just switched to editing the text on-screen instead of in the Text -> Captions panel and everything seems to be fine. I'm also finding that it is an easier place to edit than the Captions panel.
