When you do zoom in or zoom out on the timeline using a touchscreen premiere pro sometimes (and by sometimes I mean 1/2 chances) holds the virual Ctrl (like if you've hold on it by hand on the keyboard) so if you try to press any other key the premiere would operate as if you've been holding Ctrl + the key. So the work around is after you do the zoom in zoom out with your touch you have to press the real Left Ctrl (particularly the Left one) to unhold it...
the touch screen is on my Asus ROG Duo laptop (GX550LXS).
