Unable to manually track mask Premiere Pro beta

I'm currently trying to manually mask using the pen mask tool, a small portion of an image so that it would gradually fill into the frame. But no matter what keyframes I put it doesn't seem to change. Any fixes for this?

You need to be in frame mode in order to animate manually.
