Adobe Premiere Crashing When Importing Files or During Editing

Whenever I drag a file into Adobe Premiere, it crashes without giving any notifications, or it crashes while editing. PLEASE HELP

We would need a lot more information.

What is your OS/CPU/RAM/GPU, the media in use also? And of course the specific number version of Premiere Pro ... as in 24.6 or whatever you're using.

There's a recent public beta version that did this, I know. But that's in the next-series 25.x builds already.

But the shipping standard versions in 24.x shouldn't do this.

Dos this only happen with one project? Have you tried making a new project and see what happens?
