Adobe Premiere Pro Freezing

Hi

I use Premiere Pro Version 23.2.0 on a 2019 Intel Mac book Pro with 32GB Ram. I had no issues until a few days earlier when after a few edit operations, my Premiere just froze and then shut down my computer, and I had t reboot my mac pro and start again. The rest of the Mac book pro works ok when not using Premiere. It only happens when I am working on Adobe Premiere.

I then googled the issue, and I tried the following-

"Video Rendering and Playback- Swapping your video rendering and playback from “GPU Acceleration” to “Software Only” usually does the trick."

And now it's working fine. What should I do to get back to working using GPU Acceleration?

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Start by updating the GPU drivers with Premiere Pro closed. Then you switch to GPU acceleration and start testing.

Depending on the model and brand, look for updated GPU drivers on the manufacturer's website.
