Anyone else getting extreme lag when zooming in the timeline in latest version of premiere, 24.5?

Since updating premirere to latest version, I've been getting some major lag zooming in and out in timeline. This wasn't an issue before so I think it has something to do with the new UI that came with the update. Any solutions?  I am running the latest version.

Have you tried setting auto default input to None? That often helps this ... oddly enough.

 I'm not familiar with that setting. Is that for the audio?  If so, that didn't help.

In the Preferences/Audio dialog. Sometimes that can help with odd playback issues.
