Audio/Video Dissolves

For the past two releases I have difficulty adding a dissolve transition to the timeline. In the past, I could drag the desired dissolve from the effects browser to the timeline and hover over the location (beginning/end/transition) that I wanted the dissolve. This workflow still functions, but it usually requires four or five attempts to get the dissolve to stick.

I haven't seen that problem myself. If anything, perhaps the timeline is shrunk too much, it might be hard to get the accuracy of the drop. That's all I can think of. Zoom out the timeline with + (zoom in with - (unshifted minus))
